2002-2003 Champions League: Arsenal and Valencia Goals

Together in Group B of the 2nd Group Stage of 2002/03 UEFA Champions League, Arsenal stops at the 3rd place, while Valencia wins this group reaching the quarter finals (lost against FC Internazionale).

Arsenal, coached by Arsene Wenger and full of champions like Henry, Ljungberg, Bergkamp and Vieira. Reigning champion in Premier League, 1st in Group A of the 1st Group Stage (above Borussia Dortmund, Auxerre and PSV Eindhoven), one of the favourite teams for the final victory. Gunners will be eliminated in the last match day of their group, by losing in Valencia.

Valencia, coached by Rafa Benitez, reigning champion in Spain, dominator of Group B of the 1st Group Stage (above Basel, Liverpool and Spartak Moscow) and runner-up in 2000 and 2001.
